Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto is best known for its One-To-One Program which dates back to 1913 when Big Brothers began in Toronto. In our current One-to-One Program, revised to suit busy lifestyles, adult volunteers pick up their Little Brother or Little Sister to share hobbies, sports and every day activities together and then return him or her home. Time commitment is a minimum of one year - two hours a week or four hours bi-weekly. The friendship is supported by an agency staff member and the parent(s)/guardian(s).
