Scholarship Opportunities

Youth participating in any of our programs can find academic and financial support for post secondary schooling through one of the scholarship opportunities offered by our various supporters.

CIBC Youthvision Scholarship: encouraging grade 10 students involved in a mentoring program with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada (BBBSC) or the YMCA member agencies to pursue post-secondary education.

The Andra Takacs Scholarship: for youth currently in Grade 8 and matched in our Original, School-Based or Youth Programs.

 

Bertha Lamb Scholarship: helping young adults with financial need to graduate from a post-secondary institution in Toronto.  First awarding priority will be given to those who have received mentoring and peer support through the Mentorship program administered by New College at University of Toronto, for which students are identified in grade 8 by Big Brothers/Big Sisters organizations.

 

Burger King Scholars Program: for highschool seniors who plan to attend a post-secondary college, university or vocational/technical school and require financial assistance; who are working part-time; who are actively involved in their community.

 

The Clifton Scholarship is for young people in Grade 12 looking to pursue post-secondary education at an Ontario based accredited College or University.
