Do you have what it takes to become a part of something Big? Our volunteers come from all walks of life but have the common goal of wanting to make a difference in the life of a child. It’s easy to get involved…you don’t have to change your life, you just have to make a bit of room for a new friend.

Our agency is working diligently to move potential mentors through the application process and we look forward to welcoming you as a Big Brother or Big Sister.
We are currently recruiting for our programs: Become a Volunteer - How to Enroll: Step 1 - Fill in the Inquiry Form on our Volunteer Inquiry Page. Step 2 - A staff member at BBBST will be in contact with you regarding volunteer opportunities in the area in which you live/work. If you are interested in the program we are currently recruiting for in your area, you will receive an application. Once you complete the application form you can return it to our office by fax 416-925-4671, email (bbbst.com) or by mail or in person at (501-2345 Yonge St , Toronto, On, M4P 2E5). Step 3 - Attend a Child Safety Training session to learn more about your role as a Big Brother or Big Sister. Step 4 - Meet with our staff to confirm your eligibility and identify your areas of interest. Refer a FriendTalk to co-workers or other individuals you know who would enjoy being a mentor. Word of mouth is the program’s best promotion. We also do lunch and learns for companies to let staff learn more about our programs and volunteering opportunities.
